Yulewood Cottage
Dining area of my apartment and crazy wall of stuff.  My son’s school pictures, art prints from my grandmother’s house, cool mirrors, a handmade art piece my son made in kindergarten.
The placements on the table were yarn creations made by my grandmother.  The chairs around the table don’t match.  I like them that way.  I was given two chairs and the others came from a local consignment shop for less than $10 each.  They are solid, no wobble to them.

You know, I am thinking about choice ‘C’.  It would give me some needed height…hahaha

They are working out in heels!  I wonder if the Men’s Fat Farm had the same uniform.   I think I will go eat something completely unnecessary right now—in bare feet and pajamas.

This is beautiful. It’s amazing what a cellphone can capture!

My son negotiated this dollhouse for me at a yard sale for $20 this past autumn.  It needs work, but the wood on it looks good.  This is my 2012 project.  I will post more as I work on it.

This is some art I made.  I don’t really know what I am doing most of the time.  I just play about with things until the picture pleases me.

Some friends back in my old home that I truly am missing.

Typewriters Never System Crash
For a little while I really got into square cards, because I would put them in CD envelopes to mail so the front of the card showed through the window (so what if they’re extra postage). This card was made with an old typewriter text book that I found in the trash at a used bookstore. I stamped the typewriter on vellum paper and attached it and the text from the book to the card with black grommets. The “typewriters never system crash” was stamped with black ink on sticker paper and stuck on top of the vellum.
Dated 2001.

I love this card.  I actually bought an old typewriter like this at a yard sale this summer.  I will have to post a picture of it later today.

Here is our middle-aged kitty, Jinx.  He is just so darn cute when he sleeps. He covers his eyes like this a lot of the time. I finally took a picture.
